Rustic sophistication for a Northwoods retirement retreat
Originally built in the 1970s as a family vacation home, this Northwoods cabin underwent a remodel to transform it into a permanent residence for the owner's retirement. The centerpiece is the massive central stone fireplace, while the 70s kitchen was reimagined to open up workspace and capture lake views. Alder wood cabinetry, a Cambria Quartz backsplash, and a functional layout bring a modern touch to the rustic setting. The dining room, designed to evoke a "Northwoods Supper Club," features a custom back bar, antique glass mirror backsplash, and leathered granite countertops.
